Darfur Human Aid UK is founded by members of the Massaleit community.
For the last number of years, we have been supporting Sudanese refugees and asylum seekers integrate into the UK while raising funds and supporting communities affected by war back home.
A Message of Gratitude and a Seed of Hope
To our brothers and sisters of the Masaleit Association in the United Kingdom,
We write to you from Abu Tanqi Camp in eastern Chad, where around 45,450 refugees now make their home. Among us are many of the most vulnerable: widows, the elderly, and children who have lost one or both parents. Amidst such great difficulty, your compassion has shone like a guiding light.
On behalf of our whole community, we offer our deepest and most sincere thanks for your remarkable efforts and unwavering support. The aid you have sent has brought real comfort and joy—a precious glimmer of hope—to those who needed it most. May God bless your generosity, reward your kindness, and give you continued strength to stand with our people in other camps as well.
We also wish to give special recognition to our dedicated local committee. During the blessed month of Ramadan, they worked tirelessly under the harsh sun, moving from one block to the next. Acting with complete honesty and care, they ensured help reached exactly those who needed it most—serving as a blessed bridge between your kindness and our community.
A Message to Our Diaspora Abroad
To our fellow countrymen and women living far from home: we see you, we thank you for your constant encouragement, and we share these heartfelt words:
Build your future: Your growth, stability, and success matter greatly to us. Invest fully in yourselves and your well-being.
Seek valuable expertise: Strive to learn widely and build strong professional skills. Focus on specialized fields and knowledge that our homeland currently lacks.
Our country faces deep struggles and challenges today, but we hold firm to the belief that peace will come. When that day arrives, we will urgently need the wisdom, experience, and abilities you are developing right here in Britain to help rebuild our nation together.
May God protect you wherever you go, guide your steps, and one day bring you safely back to a homeland that is secure, peaceful, and prosperous. We look forward to the time when we can all be reunited in better days.

رسالة شكر وتقدير من رئيس معسكر (أبو تنقي) للاجئين بشرق تشاد الاستاذ جمال فضل عبدالرحمن
يضم معسكر “أبو تنقي” الواقع في شرقي تشاد حوالي 45,450 لاجئاً، تمثل النساء والأطفال الشريحة الأكبر والأكثر ضعفاً بينهم، ومن ضمنهم الكثير من الأطفال الأيتام (كلياً أو جزئياً) والأرامل والعجزة الذين هم في حاجة ماسة ليد العون.
ومن هنا، أتقدم بأسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير للأخوة في رابطة أبناء المساليت بالمملكة المتحدة (بريطانيا) على مجهوداتهم الكبيرة والدعم الإنساني الذي قدموه. لقد التمسنا صدق وقفتكم معنا، ونجحتم في إدخال فرحة (وإن كانت بسيطة) على قلوب الفئات الأكثر هشاشة في المعسكر. نسأل الله أن يبارك في جهودكم ويجعلها في ميزان حسناتكم، وأن يمنّ عليكم بالقدرة لتقديم المزيد لأهلكم في مخيمات اللجوء.
كما أتوجه بشكر خاص وتقدير عميق للجنة الميدانية، الذين تحملوا مشقة العمل في شهر رمضان المبارك، وتنقلوا من مربع إلى مربع (بلوك إلى بلوك) للوصول إلى الحالات الأشد احتياجاً واختيار الفئات الضعيفة بكل أمانة، ليكونوا حلقة الوصل المباركة بيننا وبينكم.
وصية وغرس للأمل
إلى أهلنا المغتربين في المهجر، إننا إذ نشكر لكم تفكيركم الدائم بنا ودعمكم المستمر، نود أن نوصيكم بوصية غالية:
اهتموا بمستقبلكم: إن نجاحكم وبناء مستقبلكم يهمنا كثيراً.
اكتسبوا الخبرات النادرة: اجتهدوا في نيل المعارف والخبرات المتنوعة، وركزوا على التخصصات الدقيقة والنادرة التي يفتقدها الوطن.
البلد يمر اليوم بأزمات ومشكلات، ولكننا على يقين بأن الغد يحمل السلام والاستقرار. وعندما يعود السلام، سنكون في أشد الحاجة لخبراتكم وعقولكم التي صُقلت في بريطانيا لنبني بها وطننا معاً من جديد.
حفظكم الله في غربتكم، وسدد خطاكم، وأعادكم إلى أرض الوطن سالمين غانمين والبلاد في أمن وأمان لتجمعنا الأيام على خير.

“Fasting Person’s Pack” Initiative Impact Report Ramadan 2026 / 1447
مَن فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ…”
بفضل الله تعالى، ثم بدعمكم السخي وجهود فريقنا المخلص، اختتمت مبادرة “كيس الصائم” لعام [2026 / 1447] أعمالها بنجاح، محققةً هدفها في تخفيف الأعباء عن الأسر المتعففة، الأيتام، وكبار السن خلال الشهر الفضيل في معسكرات اللاجئين بشرق تشاد.
بفضل تبرعاتكم، استطعنا تحويل النوايا الطيبة إلى أرقام ملموسة على أرض الواقع.
إلى الجهات الداعمة والمحسنين: دعمكم لم يكن مجرد سلع غذائية، بل كان رسالة طمأنينة وتكافل مجتمعي أحيت قلوباً أتعبتها الظروف.
إلى أبطال الميدان (الفريق والمتطوعين): بوركت سواعدكم التي لم تكلّ ولم تملّ صياماً وعطاءً.
نتطلع لمواصلة هذا الأثر معكم في المبادرات القادمة، فالخير لا ينقطع برحيل رمضان.

By the grace of God Almighty, and thanks to your generous support and the efforts of our dedicated team, the “Fasting Person’s Pack” initiative for 2026 / 1447 has successfully concluded. It achieved its goal of alleviating the burdens faced by underprivileged families, orphans, and the elderly during the holy month in refugee camps in eastern Chad.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to turn good intentions into tangible results on the ground. To our supporters and benefactors: Your contribution was more than just food supplies; it was a message of reassurance and social solidarity that uplifted hearts weary from hardship.
To our heroes in the field (staff and volunteers): Blessings upon the hands that never tired or faltered in their service and giving. We look forward to continuing this impact with you in future initiatives, for goodness does not end with the passing of Ramadan.
